The Garden Route

The Garden Route is a famously beautiful stretch of land along the southeastern coast of South Africa. It strings together a series of sought-after holiday towns including Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, making it one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. It is also blessed with Fynbos, one of the most diverse plant biomes on the planet, and a prominent part of the Cape Floral Kingdom. As such, whl.travel is thrilled to have local partners who make it their business to bring it to life.

Back Road Safaris, whl.travel’s new local connection, is involved in tourism with heart and soul. Their team comprises individuals with interests as diverse as their personalities but with one common denominator – all love the great outdoors.

“The team at www.garden-route-tours.travel are proud to be the 125th site launch of whl.travel,” said Richard, “not only because of the philosophy of caring for the destination and responsible tourism, but to belong to a growing community that is a worldwide proactive movement, that the team here believe will make a sustainable difference to the destinations we serve. May the local connection continue to grow!”

The Panorama Route

Winding its way through craggy mountains and the northeastern end of the Great Escarpment, the Panorama Route has some of the most dramatic landscape in the world. It is also an adventure junkie’s paradise, well known for the variety of adrenaline-pumping activities on offer in and around the Blyde River Canyon, including whitewater rafting, horseback riding, kloofing, Geckoing, Zip-line abseiling, fishing, mountain biking, mountain boarding, wall climbing and hiking.

The Panorama Route website is owned and operated by Induna Adventures, a well-established local tour operator with eight years of operation under its belt and a strong record of demonstrated responsible tourism practices and community outreach. The Panorama Route website is the first of two that the company will be launching; a portal focusing of the western region of Kruger National Park will follow.

According to Jaco Lubbe, “whl.travel is exactly what the Panorama Route has been looking for, a way to market our stunning destination to the world! We are so happy to have become a part of this growing global network, where each and every member shares our desire to bring tourism down to a grassroots level. There are so many tiny but very special products out there and it’s time they got the publicity they deserve! Thanks to the unique design of the whl.travel business model, we feel strongly that we are now in a position to do this and that makes this a very exciting time everyone at Induna Adventures”.

IN AFRIKAANS

whl.travel Loods hul Derde en Vierde bestemming in Suid-Africa

whl.travel se ewig-uitbreidende bestemming toegangspunte sluit nou ook vier van Suid-Afrika af in. Die Tuinroete en Panoramaroete is onlangs geloods as die nuutse byvoegings en sluit aan by die reeds-geloodste Kaapstad en Kaapse Wynroete.

Tuinroete

Daar is so baie klein toerisme produkte daarbuite, waarvan so buite uiters uniek en spesiaal is.
