Video Spotlight: Olympic Torch Relay 2012

With just under 50 days until the start of the 2012 Summer Olympics, London – and the rest of the United Kingdom – has begun to warm up in earnest. The Olympic Torch began its journey in its spiritual home of Olympia, Greece, one month ago today, where it was lit in a traditional ceremony at the Temple of Hera. Following a brief tour of Greece, the flame was passed to UK representatives, who escorted it back to the host country.

The images are maps of cities around the world that show the location of all photos currently available in public Flickr and Picasa search APIs.
