Jericoacoara is old fishing village located in the northeast of Brazil, more precisely in the state of Ceará, west of its capital city of Fortaleza. The village appeared to the world in 1994, after the ‘Washington Post’ newspaper chose the beach as one of the 10 most beautiful in the world. Because of this, Jericoacoara became a famous tourist destination for international travellers.

The coastal city of Kotor, Montenegro is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, it has a unique character that has been determined by its history, it was always a place of mixture and it is visible at the first glance: western European and Byzantine style are reflected even in the building blocks themselves with the varying textures and marble hues.

As usual, I was travelling around South America with my girlfriend. During our research about Peru, we read a lot about the Miraflores neighbourhood in Lima and decided to stay there for a few days before leaving for Cusco and Machu Picchu. On the way there, we drove us along this beautiful road by the sea called La Costa Verde – the Green Coast.
